Leaks
Leak detection and repair is £99 for the first hour. Not every leak announces itself — a rising water bill, a damp patch on a ceiling, or a boiler losing pressure repeatedly all point to water escaping somewhere. We trace it with as little disruption as we can manage rather than opening up walls hopefully.
Bathrooms and kitchens
We fit taps, mixer showers, electric showers, close-coupled toilets and outside taps. On electric showers, the cable and consumer unit side matters as much as the plumbing — an 8.5kW unit needs the right supply and RCD protection, and we will tell you honestly if the existing cable is not up to the model you have bought.
One thing we do not do
We do not unblock toilets. We will clear blocked sink and bath wastes for £95, but blocked WCs are a drainage job and you will get a better result and a better price from a drainage specialist. Saying so upfront saves you a wasted callout charge.

How much does a plumber charge in Birmingham?
We work to fixed prices for common jobs rather than an hourly rate — for example £200 for a kitchen tap supplied and fitted, £95 to clear a blocked sink waste, and £99 for the first hour of leak detection and repair.
Can you find a leak without pulling up the floor?
Usually. We isolate sections, use moisture and acoustic detection, and narrow it down before lifting anything. Some leaks under solid floors do need access, and we will tell you before we start.
Do you fit electric showers?
Yes, £300–£400 supplied and fitted. The existing electrical supply needs to suit the rating of the shower, which we check first.
Do you unblock toilets?
No. We clear sink and bath wastes from £95, but blocked toilets are drainage work and better handled by a drainage specialist.
